How payments work from fitting to return.
Effective date: 19 September 2025
Pay the rental and deposit
The R150 fitting fee is deducted from the dress-rental price. The separate dress deposit remains refundable, subject to the return conditions.
Choose your dress
After your fitting, confirm the dress you would like to reserve for your event.
Pay the rental and deposit
The R150 fitting fee is deducted from the rental amount when you hire a dress.
Return the dress
Your deposit is refunded after the dress is returned on time and inspected.
The R150 fitting fee is not refundable.
The R150 fitting fee secures your appointment and covers the time spent preparing your selected dresses before you arrive.
This R150 is not refunded, including where you decide not to hire a dress.
When you do hire a dress, the R150 is deducted from the dress-rental price. It is not deducted from the refundable dress deposit.
The dress deposit is separate from the R150 fitting fee.
A separate refundable deposit is required to reserve your chosen dress. The amount depends on the dress and will be confirmed before you proceed.
The dress deposit is refunded after the dress is returned on time and in the agreed condition.
Payment must be complete before collection.
Before collection, the outstanding dress-rental amount and the separate refundable dress deposit must be paid in full.
The R150 fitting fee will already have been deducted from the dress-rental price. It is not part of the refundable deposit.
We accept cash or instant EFT only.
The rental fee covers:
- Use of the dress for the agreed rental period.
- Standard cleaning and maintenance.
- Preparation before your fitting and event.
Payment confirms the reservation.
Your dress is reserved for the agreed event date only after the required deposit has been received.
We cannot hold dresses without payment, particularly during busy periods such as matric farewells, weddings and year-end functions.
When the full deposit is returned.
The deposit is refundable when the dress is returned:
- By the agreed return date and time.
- In the condition in which it was received.
- Without unauthorised alterations.
- Without significant stains, tears, burns or damage.
- With all accessories and removable parts included.
Deposit refunds are processed after inspection, normally within 3–5 working days.
When part or all of the deposit may be withheld.
Reasonable repair, cleaning or replacement costs may be deducted when an item is returned with significant damage, is incomplete or is lost.
Late returns may also result in additional charges or affect the deposit refund.
Keep your confirmation for your records.
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive or be given details of:
- Your selected dress or accessories.
- The agreed rental period.
- Collection and return arrangements.
- The rental charge and deposit amount.
Plan ahead during busy seasons.
Early fitting and reservation are recommended to avoid disappointment during high-demand periods.
Deposits are linked to the person and booking for which they were paid and are not transferable to another client.
